welp, it’s december. where did the time go! i’m officially embracing this frigid weather with cozy, comfy, holiday things. one of my favorite winter activities is curling up with a good book (which is currently wildwood by colin meloy ), a cup of tea, and a big ole blanket. nothing better, i tell ya.

one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight

i have never been great at saving my mula. in college, if there was a sale at urban outfitters, you better believe i was there spending every last penny of my paycheck. i guess with age, you realize there are other things in life more important than wearing the newest and trendiest pieces. lately, i have been all about saving. it makes purchasing a big item way more special when you’ve been consciously saving for it. after college, i moved in with my parents. it is definitely not ideal, but i thank the heavens that they opened their home back up for me so that i could afford to start a job that has allowed me to do what i love to do and get on my feet before immersing myself into the big bad adult world. i’ve been saving up big time for my own space and all the goodies to go with it and i could not be more excited.

so, i popped on over to west elm yesterday and was greeted by a message asking me to put together a wishlist of items from their store for the chance to win a $5,000 shopping spree. i wasn’t going to say no to their request. so i went through the store and had a little too much fun marking all of the things i would like them to send me. now let’s just cross my fingers that no one else enters.
