the next few weekends are jam packed with a lot of celebrations, a lot of visitors, a lot of traveling and a LOT of cake. mhmmm.

in the midst of all the business life creates, isn’t it refreshing to sit back and reflect on what you got goin’ on? these images made me feel super blessed to even exist. i mean look at that sky. in the past, i have kept a journal that i would write in each night before i went to bed the five things i was most thankful for that day. it kept me humble and positive throughout my week. the habit slowly died off and i realize now that it was a really good thing for me. and to keep me vulnerable, i might just pick this habit back up and share with you the things that i am thankful for every now and again. hope that’s alright. have a great weekend!

since i’ve moved in to my own place, i have really enjoyed being able to cook for myself. my bloglovin is full of food and health blogs now, which is definitely out of the norm for me and my design-focused ways. it gets me all giddy to see two of my favorite things unite like these pantone recipes by alison anselot. prefect, right?

on a side note, ftlod has been noticeably taking a back seat to the rest of my life and i apologize for that. i still love my little space of internet and hope to post more often in the upcoming months, but this time of year has just been crazy busy. i adore and appreciate all of you who come here and hope i am not disappointing you by posting a little less frequently lately. i truly enjoy your comments and emails, so keep ‘em coming! have a lovely thursday, it’s almost the weekend after all!

ohhh friday has never felt so good. this weekend is going to be full of sun and coronas and friends i haven’t seen in a while. i. can’t. wait.

i know i’ m late to the game, but i was just thrilled that instagram came to the droid and have been a little too obsessed with the ability to peek into the daily lives of some of my favorite people. it’s also fun to take pictures of my own. i am no photographer, folks, but will you be my instafriend anyway? have a lovely weekend!

show us your type is a collaborative effort bringing type and cities together. it reminds me of college studio classes, when everyone would start with the same assignment and everyone’s would turn out drastically different. kind of fun. kind of interesting. makes me want to travel. and go back to college.
